Seeking a Principal Analytics Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for architecting and managing scalable data pipelines, acting as a dbt expert to enforce data product development best practices, and mentoring junior engineers to enhance team performance. Key responsibilities:
Architect, design, and lead the build-out of end-to-end data pipelines and the transformation layer Act as the dbt subject matter expert, managing the lifecycle of complex dimensional models and metrics Collaborate cross-functionally to scope and deliver high-impact analytics initiatives, ensuring effective implementation of analytics requirements
Required qualifications:
7+ years of experience in an Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering role within a SaaS or high-tech environment Proficiency in SQL and strong production experience with major cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) Extensive experience with DBT, including advanced features Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred
