This role works off of shift rotation pattern.
#Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Supervise, monitor, and support the maintenance team in delivering electrical/mechanical services, building fabric, and grounds maintenance.
Operational Excellence: Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, and high-quality workmanship.
Communication & Collaboration: Act as the key liaison with Industrial Engineering and other internal departments; report on major projects, critical machinery issues, significant spends, and safety or system concerns.
Safety & Compliance: Drive continuous improvement in health and safety standards, ensuring all work is carried out competently in a safe, clean working environment.
Problem Solving & Reporting: Resolve shift issues proactively and maintain detailed records of shift events, non-conformances, and target achievements.
Candidate Requirements: Experience: Previous experience in a foreman/supervisory role (or work of a similar nature), ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing plant.
Technical Qualifications: You must be a Qualified Electrician OR hold a Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting Qualification.
Skills & Attributes: Self-motivated with a passion for continuous improvement and a drive for success.
Excellent communication skills and strong computer literacy.
A proven commitment to Quality and Health & Safety standards.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and work on your own initiative while being a strong team player.
Physical & Operational Flexibility: Ability to carry out manual work and shift work.
Normal color vision is required for safety and technical precision. xyswxtq
Flexibility to attend pre-arranged training or meetings outside of regular hours when needed.
