This is an excellent opportunity for a Part Qualified Accountant to gain broad commercial accounting experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The Role: Prepare monthly management accounts for overheads and a key business division.
Produce budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
Complete monthly sales and margin reconciliations and provide commercial analysis.
Prepare and submit bi-monthly VAT returns.
Manage fleet accounting, pricing, reporting and related financial analysis.
Process and reconcile monthly dealer payments.
Liaise with commercial teams on vehicle pricing, margin analysis and financial reporting.
Review marketing expenditure, sponsorship costs and associated reporting.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with the annual external audit and insurance renewal process.
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company procedures.
Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external business partners.
Provide support across the finance function and assist with ad hoc projects as required.
The Person: Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA).
Previous experience in a Management Accounting or Assistant Accountant role.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience preparing management accounts, reconciliations and financial analysis.
Good knowledge of VAT and general accounting principles.
Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial systems.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills with the confidence to work closely with non-finance stakeholders. xyswxtq
