Summary: Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company in West Dublin, is seeking a Payroll Senior Specialist to support the delivery of accurate and compliant payroll services across multiple payrolls.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the wider payroll team to ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in line with statutory and company requirements.
This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to payroll projects, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
Responsibilities: Process payroll accurately and efficiently across multiple payrolls, ensuring all payroll deadlines are achieved.
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, statutory reporting requirements, and internal policies and procedures.
Maintain effective payroll controls to ensure accuracy and the successful delivery of payroll services.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, including automation where appropriate.
Support payroll-related projects, including system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other internal stakeholders on payroll-related matters.
Coordinate workloads with the wider payroll team to ensure business needs are met during peak processing periods.
Support internal and external audits by providing payroll documentation and responding to payroll-related queries.
Maintain and update payroll procedures, policies, forms, and supporting documentation.
Process employee lifecycle changes, including new starters, leavers, salary changes, and other payroll adjustments in a timely manner.
Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders while providing a high standard of payroll support.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience: Degree qualification or equivalent.
Professional payroll or finance qualification.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a hands-on payroll position.
Experience supporting payroll across multiple countries.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with payroll reporting tools.
Experience using automation tools or emerging technologies to improve payroll processes.
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, statutory deductions, and payroll compliance.
Experience using payroll and HR systems such as ADP, Workday, or similar payroll software. xyswxtq
