Wicklow Residential Main Contractor Salary: €60,000 €75,000 (DOE) Job Type: Permanent Site Civil Engineer (Setting Out) A well-established Main Contractor with a strong pipeline of work is seeking a Site Civil Engineer for a housing development in Kilcoole, Co.
Wicklow.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with 3+ years experience to join a busy project team delivering high-quality residential units.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for all elements of the works including groundworks, roads, drainage, and housing units
- Interpreting drawings and specifications to ensure accurate construction on site
- Liaising with subcontractors, site management, and design teams
- Ensuring works are completed in line with project programme and quality standards
- Maintaining accurate site records, including as-built surveys and reports
- Assisting with quality control and health & safety compliance on site
- Monitoring and coordinating subcontractor activities Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years experience in a site engineering role (residential/civils preferred)
- Strong setting out experience using Total Station and GPS equipment
- Good knowledge of Irish construction standards and site practices
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Whats on Offer
