The role:

As Nursery Housekeeper, you will helpmaintainthe highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery. Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning andmaintainingplayrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
  

• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and emptying bins
  

• Cleaning and disinfecting children's bathrooms, nappy changing areas, and high-touch surfaces
  

• Supporting laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organising nursery linen
  

• Assistingwith washing up andmaintainingcleanliness within kitchen areas
  

• Using cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately
  

• Monitoring cleaning stock levels and reporting replenishment requirements
  

• Following Health & Safety, COSHH, infection control, and safeguarding proceduresat all times
  

• Supporting periodic deep cleaning tasks asrequired
  

• Working closely with the nursery team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all
  

Whatwe'relooking for:

Essential:

• Reliable and punctual
  

• Able to work independently
  

• Good attention to detail
  

• Takes pride inmaintaininghigh standardsof cleanliness
  

• Positive and proactive approach to work
  

Desirable:

• Previouscleaning or housekeeping experience
  

• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and COSHH procedures
  

• Experience working in a nursery, school, healthcare, or similar environment
