We are seeking a dedicated and experienced *General Dentist* to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in comprehensive patient care, with proficiency in various dental procedures and advanced dental software. This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional dental services in a collaborative environment, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality. The position is full-time and includes all necessary resources to support your clinical expertise and professional growth.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
* Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
* Utilize advanced dental software liking Dentrix or other for accurate documentation and record keeping.
* Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Conduct patient consultations, explain treatment options, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
* Collaborate with dental team members to ensure seamless patient care, including pediatric dentistry when applicable.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and current best practices in dentistry.
* Ensure proper dental fabrication procedures are followed for prosthetics or restorations as needed.
* Adhere to all clinical guidelines related to medical records management and patient confidentiality.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in general dentistry within a busy dental clinic or office setting.
* Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred.
* Hands-on experience with pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialized procedures is desirable.
* Strong knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA compliance.
* Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and understanding of anatomy relevant to dental procedures.
* Prior experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics is advantageous. This role requires a committed professional capable of delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining the utmost standards of safety and confidentiality. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
