The posted compensation range of $35.00 - $35.00 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law. As our Sonographer, you will utilize advanced sonographic equipment to record detailed images of blood, organs, tissues, and bodily masses, including unborn fetuses, providing critical visual data for diagnosis and prenatal care. Every day you will directly interact with patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and preparing them for scans. You will meticulously operate sonographic equipment, adjusting settings and patient positions to ensure clear, diagnostic images. You will monitor and care for patients to ensure their safety and comfort, select and examine images for pathologies, and present preliminary findings to Physicians. To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent patient service and communication skills, sharp eyesight, and meticulous attention to detail. You will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, sound judgment, and advanced decision-making skills to effectively capture and interpret sonographic data, ensuring optimal diagnostic support.

Job Requirements
High School Graduate and 6 months experience OR Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Echocardiography program OR an approved Allied Health program including but not limited to: Respiratory Therapy, Radiology or Nursing Have one of the following: RCES, RCS, RCS, RDMS, RDCS, RDCSAE, RDCSFE, RDCSPE, RDMSAB, RDMSBR, RDMSFE, RDMSNE, RDMSOB, RDMSPS, RTCT, RTR, RVS, RVT Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
Where You'll Work St. Luke's Health-Memorial Livingston is a 66-bed facility and member of CommonSpirit Health, a national nonprofit health system. Serving East Texas, St. Luke's Health-Memorial provides more than a quarter of a million patient services annually and contributes millions of dollars in local charity care and community support. This facility delivers more than 60,000 patient services annually—half through its Level IV trauma-designated emergency department. Patients have access to a wide range of services including orthopedic care, women's health and a state-of-the-art sleep center. Advanced imaging services include MRI, CT, 3D mammography, 4D ultrasound, cardiac echo and more—all close to home.
