The successful candidate will gain exposure to a diverse range of projects and play a key role in securing future work for the business.
Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects.
Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
Obtain and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and project cost plans.
Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities.
Work closely with operational teams to develop competitive bids.
Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Support senior management in tender reviews and commercial decision-making.
Requirements Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years experience within the construction industry.
Previous estimating experience is advantageous but not essential.
Experience within residential construction is highly desirable.
Exposure to commercial or industrial projects would be beneficial.
Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
Motivated individual looking to develop within a growing contractor.
Package €60,000
- €70,000 DOE Full-time, permanent position based in Limerick.
