Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring in Woonsocket, RI for a Sr. Network Engineer. The role focuses on ensuring the security, stability, and efficiency of the network infrastructure. Responsibilities Design, configure, and deploy network security solutions to meet organizational requirements. Develop and maintain network security policies, procedures, and configurations. Integrate network security systems with other security and networking technologies. Provide support for network incidents, including packet analysis and forensic investigation. Perform root‑cause analysis on incidents and develop mitigation action plans. Execute a holistic strategy and tactical plan for enterprise-level network architecture, ensuring resilience, scalability, and reduced mean time to repair. Collect and define requirements to align with business and technical needs in an efficient, economical manner. Establish testing strategies, standards, and objectives in line with enterprise IT goals. Design, implement, and maintain high‑performing network security systems. Monitor and maintain network performance and security posture, conducting regular assessments and remediation. Lead design and implementation projects, delivering on time and within budget. Document network designs, configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (IT, security, operations) to align security practices with business goals. Communicate with stakeholders on project progress, security incidents, and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards, and support audits. Qualifications • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field plus 2+ years’ experience in the field. • Minimum 2 years of experience in each of the following: Cisco NGFW Cisco ASA Terraform Cisco ISE Checkpoint NGFW REST APIs IPSec VPN Proxy solutions Network segmentation Wireshark SIEM MPLS DDI Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Pay Range: $96,762 to $185,400 per year.
