Position Description:
Responsible for data consolidation, data analysis, and reporting management in support of business requirements. Analyze data sets and present analytical findings to support successful business practices. This position focuses on creating operational efficiency through access to real time data and analysis of historical data enabling informed decision making as well as problem identification and resolution.

Major/Essential Functions:
In this position, you will:
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations for internal HR reporting and campus-wide customers.
Provide insight, analysis and recommendations to our customers and team so that they can make informed business decisions.
Analyze, organize, and refine data to improve accuracy and operational efficiency.
Support database querying and data warehouse initiatives to collect and organize historical data to assist with open records, audits, and state and federal reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using SQL to retrieve records from databases as well as an understanding of SQL joins in order to merge data from multiple tables.
Experience creating tables and modeling data in databases.
Ability to work and communicate with colleagues across different departments (from applications developers to Managers and Directors), and with third-party vendors, such as Cognos.

Bachelor’s Degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT or other related area and one year of experience OR a combination of related education and/or experience.
