Job Description: An established surgical practice in the Danbury, CT area is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team. The position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a renowned surgeon in a role with a mix of operating room and clinic responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of the surgeon Perform pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care of patients. Collaborate closely with the neurosurgeon and multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Conduct patient consultations and follow-up visits in the clinic setting. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans. Provide patient education on conditions, treatments, and preventive care measures. Qualifications: Current certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) in Connecticut. Surgical experience is preferred, but candidates with a strong interest in surgery and a willingness to learn will be considered. Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills.
