Responsibilities Deliver and test a quality SaaS software product used across multiple platforms for managing systems, collecting and analyzing data, and providing a focal point for CRM activities in biotech and life sciences industries. Design and implement test strategies. Build effective test cases for API, functional, and automated testing for mobile and web based applications. Design and write test automation and test frameworks. Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution. Collaborate with the broader team to identify, understand and resolve the root cause of defects and customer escalations. Document test cases and outcomes within a test case management application. Clearly document and explain defects found in defect tracking system. Configure and maintain test environments. Help with release management. Work in a small team environment within a highly successful company that is growing fast.
Qualifications The position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Computer Science, Biotechnology, or another directly related field of study and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations.
Writing test cases and test scenarios that cover both sanity and in-depth testing
Web technologies including HTML and JavaScript
Database and SQL development
Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming language
Building effective test cases that are used for API, functional and automated testing for mobile and web based applications
Performing data validation and backend testing using MySQL and DynamoDB for data migration
Performing root cause analysis and triaging customer defects using Elastic search logs, Linux server logs for off platform services
Support testing of AI‑powered features
Working within AWS environments, testing cloud‑native components and services involving IAM policies, S3 storage, compute layers and microservices
Salary and Benefits $150,000-$160,000/year. Salary ranges listed in compliance with local regulations and represent a potential base salary range for this role. Actual salaries may vary depending on experience and location.
