Schedule Hours are set by the Store Manager and generally fall within standard business hours. Team members are expected to be at their workstation at least 10 minutes prior to the start of their shift. Schedules may be adjusted as needed to ensure proper desk and customer coverage.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent service to both walk-in and phone customers.
Serve as the first point of contact, ensuring every interaction is professional, helpful, and positive.
Build relationships with customers by learning names, understanding needs, and offering solutions.
Answer inbound calls promptly (within three rings) in a professional manner.
Assist customers with product inquiries, pricing, and order placement over the phone.
Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them efficiently.
Maintain a welcoming environment and deliver a high level of service to support repeat business.
Quoting & Order Processing
Prepare quotes for non-stock items, including vendor coordination and pricing research.
Follow established markup guidelines and obtain approval from the Store Manager and Purchasing Department when deviations are required.
Ensure all quotes are accurate and approved before presenting to customers.
Organization & Communication
Maintain clear and detailed notes throughout the day, including tasks, quotes, customer details, and purchase orders.
Stay organized and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Showroom Maintenance
Keep the showroom clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Ensure displays reflect available products and support the sales process.
Training & Development
Participate in ongoing training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and internal systems.
Training is provided by Sales Management and may include systems, accounting, and operational processes.
Cash Handling (as assigned)
Assist with daily cash drawer counts prior to store opening.
Report discrepancies immediately to management.
Dress Code
Maintain a professional yet practical appearance.
Acceptable attire includes clean, presentable jeans and a polo shirt.
Clothing should be free of holes or damage, and any hats worn must be appropriate and non-distracting.
