About the Role Muon is seeking a Technical Recruiter to scale our Hardware team by identifying and hiring exceptional talent. In this role, you will lead full‑cycle recruiting for hardware positions and partner as a key resource for hiring managers throughout the hiring process. As the first point of contact for candidates, you will represent Muon Space with professionalism and enthusiasm for our mission.
Responsibilities
Own full‑cycle recruiting for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and closing top talent.
Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements, develop hiring strategies, and build strong technical pipelines.
Proactively identify and engage high‑caliber candidates through creative sourcing strategies including cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
Conduct candidate screenings and interviews, partnering with interview teams to evaluate technical and cultural fit.
Guide hiring managers through the recruiting process, providing recommendations and insights to support efficient and high‑quality hiring decisions.
Coordinate and manage interview processes to ensure an exceptional candidate experience and strong representation of the company’s mission and culture.
Use recruiting data and market insights to inform hiring strategies and improve recruiting effectiveness.
Manage offer processes including compensation discussions, negotiations, and closing candidates.
Partner with People Operations and hiring teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and workflows to support rapid hiring in a high‑growth environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional experience as a technical recruiter supporting hardware roles.
2+ years of in‑house recruiting experience.
Experience with Greenhouse or similar ATS systems, as well as LinkedIn Recruiter.
Excited to work in a fast‑paced environment with new challenges each week.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Comfortable interfacing directly with hiring managers, including executive leadership.
Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates.
Ability to multitask and operate independently while remaining a strong team player.
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
Strong desire to be successful and make an impact.
Nice to Have Skills
Experience recruiting in the aerospace industry.
Experience scaling startups in highly competitive markets.
Experience working in an agency environment.
Salary The salary range for this role is $138,000 – $154,000, plus a competitive equity grant and comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location as assessed during the interview process.
Benefits At Muon, salary is part of the total compensation package. Full‑time employees receive equity compensation as well as medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, short‑ and long‑term disability and life insurance. We also offer three weeks paid vacation for new employees, 12 paid holidays, unlimited sick time and paid parental leave.
