Role Description The Sales Associate/Front Desk role is a full-time, on-site position based in Arlington, VA. In this role, the team member greets and checks in clients, manages studio tours, answers questions about services and memberships, and delivers an engaging, welcoming experience for every visitor. Daily responsibilities include handling inbound calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries, processing membership sales and renewals, booking and confirming appointments, and maintaining accurate member records in the studio system. The Sales Associate/Front Desk also supports studio operations by maintaining a clean and organized lobby/front desk area, assisting with retail product sales, and supporting Flexologists with client flow. This role collaborates closely with studio leadership to achieve membership and revenue goals, supports local marketing and community outreach, and participates in events or promotions as needed.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and client experience skills, including the ability to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all clients.
Sales and membership-building skills, with comfort discussing pricing, closing sales, and meeting or exceeding individual and studio sales targets.
Front desk and administrative skills, such as appointment scheduling, handling payments, data entry, and managing phone and email communications.
Basic marketing and community outreach abilities, including supporting local events, promotions, and social media efforts to drive studio awareness.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professional, courteous interpersonal skills and the ability to explain services clearly.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced studio environment.
Comfort working in a health, wellness, or fitness environment; prior experience in a fitness studio, spa, or hospitality setting is a plus.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by studio operations.
Proficiency with basic computer applications and point-of-sale or membership management systems; willingness to learn studio-specific software.
