Saturday - Rotating On Call**Position Location**Kingston, NY
- in person and on site *(not remote)***Essential Knowledge and Skills*** High school diploma or GED required with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of experience and/or training.* Experience managing a Microsoft Windows Server environment (Active Directory, User Management, GPO, DNS).* Understanding of networking and related troubleshooting (protocols, ports, physical cabling, switching).* Thorough technical knowledge of PC, server hardware and software installation, operation, updating, and support.* Willingness to learn new technical skills, as well as troubleshoot technology you may not be experienced in.* Strong customer service skills.* Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.**Desirable Knowledge and Skills*** Associates or Bachelor’s degree in computer science.* Experience with
+ Endpoint Protection (ex. CrowdStrike, Carbon Black).
+ Microsoft 365 (Entra, Intune, Exchange).
+ VMware Virtualization, VCenter, and network storage protocols.
+ Desktop Virtualization (ex. Azure, Horizon)
+ Firewall policies (creation and troubleshooting).
+ Network Configuration (switch configuration via SSH CLI).
+ Cybersecurity (SEIM, Post Event Analysis)**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Perform a wide range of system administration duties Windows servers/workstations, including install, troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and general support.* Managing and supporting VMware, Windows servers, SQL servers, networking equipment, SAN storage, and third-party programs.* Participating in disaster recovery planning and testing and implementation. Assisting with efforts to manage and maintain Backup and Recovery strategies.* Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.* Manage provided device and software inventory, monitoring, and managing software.* Maintain a baseline of security with all devices and platforms and use industry best practices at all times.* Monitor devices for vulnerabilities and remediate through applying patches and upgrades as necessary.* Cooperatively and efficiently perform all other related tasks as assigned by their direct supervisor.* Participate in on-call rotation to cover Saturday help desk call.* Any other duties as assigned by management.**Ulster Savings Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer**.
