About the job
The Receiving, Distribution & Records Technician supports warehouse operations by receiving, storing, distributing, and tracking supplies, equipment, and records while maintaining accurate inventory and documentation.
We're looking for someone who Holds a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and work experience (preferred) Has 2+ years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, materials handling, or receiving and distribution (preferred) Has experience using inventory or supply chain management systems (preferred) Possesses basic computer skills, including email and data entry Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail Communicates clearly and provides excellent customer service Is able to work independently and as part of a team Can accurately maintain inventory records and documentation Is willing to obtain California Designated Representative (Exemptee) certification for on-call eligibility (required) Is willing to support warehouse operations and other assigned duties as needed What you'll do Receive, store, and distribute supplies and equipment throughout the facility Maintain inventory using the supply chain management system Deliver supplies to hospital departments and offsite locations Assist with the pickup and delivery of records and supplies Assign storage locations and container labels Operate barcode scanners to track inventory and records Retrieve, store, and purge records according to departmental policies Maintain record retention inventories with guidance from the Warehouse Supervisor Assist with general warehouse operations and inventory activities Support maintenance and upkeep of warehouse vehicles and equipment Provide support to additional departments as needed Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-focused work environment Physical requirements Must be able to lift up to 50lbs safely Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods Must be able to push and pull carts containing supplies and records Must be able to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, and inventory tasks Company Description SlingShot Connections provides contract staffing, direct hire placement, executive search recruitment, payroll services, and customized staffing solutions for numerous verticals, including accounting & finance, hospitality, human resources, and many more.
