Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
5 years of engineering experience, including 2 years in EV powertrain integration
Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar engineering tools
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Clear technical communication, written and verbal
Comfortable working independently and across cross‑functional teams
U.S. citizen or permanent resident required
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Develop and refine detailed design models and technical drawings with senior engineers
Produce documentation that defines mechanical system and component specifications
Apply FMVSS, state, and customer requirements to design decisions
Support prototype development and contribute to design reviews with clear feedback
Troubleshoot and resolve design and performance issues with the team
Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and product teams to protect feasibility and manufacturability
Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Stay current on EV technology, materials, and manufacturing processes
