Nature of Work Denver Summit FC is seeking a Data Analyst to support data-driven decision‑making across the club, with a primary focus on Ticket Sales and Service. This role will sit within the Business Intelligence department and serve as a connective layer between business strategy, reporting, CRM and ticketing systems, and operational support.
The ideal candidate is an entry‑level or first‑year analyst who is curious, detail‑oriented, and eager to build a career in sports business analytics. This person should be comfortable working across data analysis, systems support, and light data engineering while translating business questions into clear reporting, insights, and process improvements.
Examples of Work Performed
Ticket Sales and Service Analytics
Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and recurring reports for ticket sales, service, retention, pipeline activity, revenue pacing, inventory, and campaign performance.
Analyze season ticket, group, premium, single‑match, and other ticketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of risk.
Support sales and service leadership with daily, weekly, and matchday reporting.
Ideate with Ticket leadership on distribution lists, customer segments, and campaign audiences using CRM, ticketing, and marketing data.
Partner with Ticket Sales and Service staff to improve CRM adoption, data hygiene, and reporting accuracy.
Assist with analysis for season ticket member events, prospect events, group outings, sales campaigns, and matchday initiatives.
Ticketing Operations Technical Support
Provide technical support for ticketing operations workflows, including event builds, ticket manifests, pricing tables, package setup, inventory tracking, account updates, and matchday reporting.
Support data validation between ticketing platforms, CRM, payment systems, email tools, and internal reporting environments.
Troubleshoot ticketing data issues, including duplicate accounts, missing transactions, incorrect customer attributes, broken reports, and integration gaps.
Assist with matchday setup and support related to ticket scanning, attendance reporting, mobile ticketing, access control data, and post‑match reporting.
Create and maintain documentation for recurring ticketing operations processes, data definitions, and reporting standards.
Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve system issues and improve operational efficiency.
Data Analytics and Data Science
Collaborate with Ticket Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Matchday Operations to deliver data‑driven insights and technical solutions that support departmental objectives.
Conduct descriptive analysis, cohort analysis, segmentation, forecasting, and trend analysis to support revenue growth and fan engagement.
Translate business questions into practical analytical approaches and clear recommendations.
Use SQL, Excel, and BI tools to query, clean, summarize, and visualize data.
Support predictive or statistical projects as the club’s data maturity grows, including renewal likelihood, lead scoring, attendance forecasting, and campaign performance modeling.
Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Systems and CRM Support
Serve as a key support resource for CRM and ticketing system data quality, reporting, user workflows, and business process improvement.
Help manage CRM fields, lists, campaigns, dashboards, reports, user adoption, and documentation.
Support cross‑platform consistency between CRM, ticketing, marketing automation, sponsorship, and business intelligence tools.
Identify opportunities to automate manual reports, streamline processes, and improve system reliability.
Train and support business users on reporting tools, dashboards, CRM standards, and data entry best practices.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Typical Office Conditions
One work from home day per week.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed for matches, events, and key business moments.
May assist with event or matchday setup as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. may be required for event support.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
≤ 3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, CRM, ticketing, revenue operations, or a related area.
Strong Excel skills required.
Working knowledge of SQL is preferred.
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce reporting, or similar BI/CRM tools preferred.
Familiarity with ticketing systems, CRM platforms, sports business, live events, or revenue operations preferred.
Basic understanding of relational databases, data quality, reporting workflows, and data visualization best practices.

Compensation
Base salary range $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
