Description Structural (Truss Design) Engineer needed: Utilize structural engineering methods to design and analyze Metal Plate Connected Wood Trusses for manufacturing using TrueBuild Truss and Layout and AutoCAD software; Modify trusses for all structural engineering codes and standards; resolve problems to structural engineering and design issues regarding truss and metal connector plates; Assist software team to troubleshoot discrepancies in design software with regression testing; and create spreadsheets to assist customers understand analysis of the metal plate connected wood trusses. US Bachelors (or foreign equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering and 2 years experience.
