Job Summary Network Engineer III – located in Milwaukee, WI. The role requires advanced expertise in networking technologies and the ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff. This senior‑level technical professional will design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure and work onsite with the client government agency.
Interview Process Face to Face. The position is on‑site and requires a Wisconsin resident; relocation is not permitted.
Key Requirements
5 years or more of experience in advanced bridging and routing integration technologies.
Experience troubleshooting LANs, WANs, and wireless.
Proficiency with firewalls, ACLs, B2B access, and remote access.
Nice to have: Network monitoring and reporting.
Nice to have: Security tools and log analysis.
Responsibilities
Design and architect enterprise‑level network solutions including LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center networks.
Implement and configure advanced routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).
Deploy and manage network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS systems.
Plan and execute network upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
