Overview Deliver network solutions for business applications and infrastructure technology. Lead the development and deployment of communication solutions, including integration testing. Develop turnaround documentation for handing off to Operations teams. Design, deploy, and maintain solutions across on‑prem and cloud networks.
Manage multiple high‑priority projects, act as escalation point for network support cases, implement fault‑tolerance across critical networked environments, integrate networks with public cloud providers using transit VPC, IPSec, and other secure cloud interconnects. Lead the design and implementation of enterprise solutions focused on network and data center technologies, create governing principles for network design, define engineering standard processes, and provide consultation and direct technical support throughout the lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, testing, and support of network infrastructure.
Plan and design scalable network infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.
Ensure network performance and availability meet enterprise objectives for timely service restoration and tuning.
Act as point of escalation for network‑related support cases.
Implement fault‑tolerance across all critical networked environments.
Requirements
Four years of experience designing, deploying, maintaining, and improving on‑prem and cloud networks.
Four years of experience with network operating systems including Juniper, Cisco IOS and NX‑OS.
Four years of experience with LAN/WAN architecture and implementation for large enterprise networks (10,000+ devices).
Three years of experience creating and delivering detailed technical presentations of network solutions to senior or executive level management.
Four years of experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 advanced protocols.
Four years’ experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewall design, engineering, and L4 troubleshooting.
Four years of experience with BGP, OSPF, VSS, VPC, VNET protocols.
Four years of experience with SD‑WAN design and implementation.
Key Deliverables
Configuration and support of backbone connections over ExpressRoute (Azure), Interconnect (GCP), and various virtual gateways.
Root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting of network issues.
Perform network system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
Map network layouts and configure network devices for user environments.
Required Skills
Cisco/Juniper LAN/WAN technologies (routing and switching).
Cloud solution deployments on Azure and Google Cloud.
Cloud security solutions (Azure firewall, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet).
