The Senior BA leads the analysis and documentation of business requirements and processes, working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements.
Analyze and document complex business processes and systems.
Identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and finance to ensure alignment of business goals with technology solutions.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior business analysts.
Qualifications Education
Required (minimum): Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Documentation, Health Care Administration or related field.
Experience
Required (minimum): 3-5 years of professional experience.
Preferred: 5-7 years as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
Skill Requirements
Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects from inception to completion.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
Advanced knowledge of business analysis tools and methodologies.
Proficiency in business process modeling and data analysis tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strong documentation skills.
Effective verbal and written communication at both detail and summary levels.
Significant MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) experience (intermediate/advanced).
SharePoint library/list/reporting/dashboard creation or similar content management experience strongly preferred (intermediate/advanced).
Demonstrated professional demeanor at all times.
Champion of collaboration across various departments and cooperative work as a team member.
Must be able to exercise patience with a high level of diplomacy and ethical standards.
Working Conditions and Additional Requirements
Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.
Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.
May be required to work additional hours beyond the standard work schedule.
Salary Range $75,565.38 - $113,348.06
Compensation & Total Rewards Overview The annual base salary range for this position is determined by several factors, including scope and complexity of the role; skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and internal equity. Employees are also eligible for variable pay. Eligibility for bonuses, commissions, benefits, or any other compensation is at the company’s discretion.
