Job Summary This part‑time, non‑exempt retail associate will provide a best‑in‑class customer experience by engaging guests, supporting merchandising activities, and maintaining Disney brand standards.
Responsibilities
Perform scripted and non‑scripted events for guests
Support Disney Store Mission, "Creating Magical Moments for Guests of all Ages"
Ask open‑ended questions to assess guest needs and make appropriate suggestions
Contribute to a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment that offers an entertaining, fun and dynamic experience
Assist guests in finding solutions that best meet their needs and leverage resources including disneystore.com
Maintain respectful relationships with guests and cast members, promoting a positive work environment
Maintain Disney brand standards in guest engagement, visual, and housekeeping
Perform cash wrap and mobile POS operations efficiently and accurately
Participate in shipment processing, floor replenishment, and other operational tasks as needed
Adhere to all company policies outlined in SOP, Employee Policy Manual and Code of Business Conduct
Promote and maintain a safe working and shopping environment
Engage children at their level, allowing them to become part of the story
Drive store results by recommending additional items to guests
Demonstrate strong guest‑focused engagement on and off the sales floor
Work effectively as a member of a team
Respond to feedback and take action appropriately
Maintain a professional appearance and meet Disney Store grooming guidelines
Basic Qualifications
Logistics: lifting boxes up to 45 lbs and climbing a ladder may be required
Flexible schedule availability, including overnights, evenings, holidays, weekends and call‑in shifts (minimum three shifts Monday–Friday and weekend availability)
Verify legal right to work in the United States
At least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in retail or service industry
Fluency in another language in addition to English
Comfortable storytelling in front of large groups
Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
