Senior Software Test Analyst
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 6 Months + Extension
Minimum Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in Information Technology or related field and working knowledge of software testing methodologies
Experience in documenting test plans, requirements, writing, executing and maintaining test scripts
Experience working with Defect Management Tools (JIRA and Bugzilla)
Experience in manual testing of Java based Web applications
Experience in working with Microsoft Office products
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; excellent oral and written communication skills
Familiarity with technical style guides and writing standards; familiarity with integration testing and best practices
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences of varying technical aptitudes
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of systems used to support the business of a Utility, including outage management, CIS, automated metering, distribution management systems
Experience testing solutions based on SOA, JEE, and Web Services using IBM WebSphere products including MAXIMO, Integration Developer 6.1-7.0, Process Server 6.1-7.0, Enterprise Service Bus 6.1-7.0, WebSphere Application Server 6.1, DataPower XI50
Experience with IBM Rational Functional Tester, IBM Performance Tester, IBM Rational Robot, Zephyr, IBM Collaboration Lifecycle Management (CLM)
