Job Summary
Responsible for installing, supporting, and maintaining servers, telephony systems, and related infrastructure. Plans and responds to service outages, provides effective resolutions, and supports the Bank and Securities entities, including a Trading Floor. Works closely with Network Administrators, Help Desk Group, IT Development Group, VP Network, IT Manager, Main Office Support Groups, 3rd Party Vendors, and end‑users. Responsibilities
Insure that the network infrastructure is operational. Maintain protection and security for permissions, open ports, accounts, antivirus, antispam, anti‑adware, anti‑malware, and backups of data and voice. Apply operating system updates, patches, service packs, and configuration changes; set audit logs. Produce reports for the Department, Data Security & Audit review, and analyze system logs to identify potential issues. Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing data center environments. Install and configure new hardware and software; add, remove, or update user account information and reset passwords. Answer technical queries and document system configuration. Troubleshoot reported problems and tune system performance. Research and recommend network products, services, protocols, and standards; conduct research to remain abreast of industry developments. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery. Configure networks to ensure smooth and reliable operation; manage inventory and technical specifications of network components. Monitor and test network performance; provide performance statistics and reports. Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of 10 years of hands‑on network administration experience. Knowledge of telephony systems including Cisco UCS (CallManager) and IPC Unigy PBX; plus experience with LAN and WAN implementation and management. Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and internet standards; experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and best practices. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; preferred certification MCSE. Proven troubleshooting experience and analytical problem‑solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Operating Systems, applications, and services (Server, Workstation, SQL, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP); Cisco IOS; Cisco routers, Catalyst switches, ASA VPN appliances, Palo Alto Firewalls, IDS/IPS. Strong communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences; ability to meet deadlines and work in high‑pressure environments. Technical Skills and Abilities
Configuration management and change control of network infrastructure. Network asset management, including maintenance of inventory and documentation. Hands‑on troubleshooting of software and hardware. Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills; ability to read, write, and interpret technical documentation. Detail‑oriented, flexible, self‑motivated, and collaborative team player. Physical Demands
Position is fast paced and requires ability to deal with stress. Requires lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects (up to approximately 50 lbs). Requires general mobility around an office and clinical environment, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and extensive sitting. Salary and Benefits
Expected base salary ranges from $180,000 to $195,000. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Successful candidates are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a generous employee benefits package. EEO Statement
