We are seeking a Manager, SEO to lead and scale our enterprise‑level SEO programs. The role requires deep technical expertise, client‑management skills, and the ability to lead a high‑performing team. The SEO Manager will design, implement, and measure search strategies that maximize enterprise impact. Responsibilities
Develop high‑impact SEO program strategies and roadmaps to grow client organic search performance. Lead day‑to‑day management of client SEO programs for an enterprise portfolio (large sites with >100k pages). Conduct technical audits and optimizations, keeping clients current with AI integration and changing search landscapes. Execute on‑page optimization activities such as keyword research, metadata development, internal linking, and more. Develop and execute content strategy, including auditing, gap analysis, and strategy implementation. Optimize local search programs and partner tools such as Yext and Google Business Profiles. Automate reporting in analytics platforms to identify key performance drivers and deliver weekly/monthly insights. Implement off‑page optimization tactics, including link building, link reclamation, and outreach. Collaborate with paid search teams to create holistic search strategies that drive growth. Work closely with client implementation teams (development, product/UX, content, etc.) to define requirements and recommend solutions. Navigate ambiguity and large organizations to maximize impact. Analyze and communicate program performance to stakeholders from day‑to‑day teams up to C‑suite. Lead client relationship management: define objectives, tactics, KPIs; manage communications; and build trust. Own and grow relationships with some of Ovative Group’s largest clients. Lead, manage, and develop a high‑performing team, providing feedback, aligning on strategy, and fostering a culture of open communication and 360° feedback. Support recruitment efforts for new team members. Inspire direct reports to meet quarterly, annual, and long‑term goals. Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing enterprise‑level SEO programs. Proven track record of driving strong, positive results through SEO. Expertise in performance‑based SEO strategies and analytics tools including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, server log analysis. Experience with visibility monitoring tools (STAT, Conductor, Brightedge), auditing tools (DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, Botify), and keyword research tools (AdWords, Ahrefs, SEMrush). Deep understanding of crawling, indexing, rendering, schema.org markup, page‑speed optimizations, and technical tactics. Curiosity and fluency in AI and its impact on search. Knowledge of local search platforms such as Yext and Rio. Basic coding skills in HTML and JavaScript. Experience in enterprise SEO, performance marketing, retail, or e‑commerce is preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience managing direct reports. Understanding of paid search platforms and tactics is a plus. Pay Transparency
Base salary: $79,000 to $132,000. Bonus: up to 20%. Total compensation range is inclusive of the bonus. Benefits
