About the Role Versana is looking for a seasoned Business Analyst / Product Owner with syndicated lending market experience who can help shape the product roadmap and drive product strategy. The role reports to a Product Manager and plays a key part in growing Versana’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Become the SME in loan syndication and the product.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Specialists on product vision and execute the plan to achieve success.
Document requirements, acceptance criteria, and detailed test cases for user stories.
Build, maintain and prioritize new features and the backlog to fulfil the product vision.
Participate in scrum stand‑ups, planning, refinements, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Partner with the UX team to create wireframes and prototypes and iterate based on feedback.
Serve as a link between business and technology to ensure project goals align with business objectives.
Ensure final delivery meets requirements.
Monitor product usage and analytics and analyse trends and patterns for enhancements.
Prepare internal and external documentation – release notes, user guides, product blogs, FAQs, etc. – enabling client support, engagement and sales teams.
Provide product demonstrations to internal teams and clients/prospects.
Must Haves
5+ years as a Business Analyst/ Product Owner.
Experience with Agile frameworks and strong understanding of SDLC.
Inquisitive, asks questions and has a drive to learn.
Experience in requirements gathering, writing requirements, and user story writing.
Strong organisation, documentation and communication skills.
Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to collaborate across teams such as Engineering, UX, Sales.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
Self‑motivated and thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, managing multiple tasks.
Nice to Haves
Syndicated Lending market experience.
Run, manage and participate in scrum ceremonies.
Test case writing experience.
AI experience.
Client‑facing experience.
ADO/JIRA or similar project management tool experience.
Microsoft Office Suite.
SQL and/or data visualisation tool experience.
