À propos
Formos Solutions Architects (SAs) are full‑time employees who are primarily responsible for ensuring that the software we develop meets the requirements of the customer and is properly architected, designed and implemented, and delivered on time and on budget. Working from a remote location anywhere in the USA, or onsite at our Vancouver, WA headquarters, our SAs interact directly with our clients, helping to define and clarify requirements, design architecture, manage client expectations, and ultimately deliver the software solution. They are responsible for leading diverse teams of project managers, technical project leads, designers, developers, and quality assurance engineers in the US, Vietnam, and Ecuador. They work with the CTO, sales engineers, and other technical leadership to create specifications and proposals, generate estimates, manage requirements, and ensure software quality.
Skills and Experience Strong candidates will have 5+ years of experience working as a software developer (enterprise software experience preferred), however those with solid development comprehension, ability to read and write code, and proven success managing professional projects may also be considered.
Ideal candidates will have experience working as a development team lead, and will be competent with agile methodologies such as Scrum.
Qualified candidates must be technically sharp, great communicators, and can show that they are able to work comfortably with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, in both verbal and written communications. They are adaptable, flexible, and good at thinking on their feet, and are highly organized, detail oriented, and thorough.
