Owning the design system's component library in code, the remote Design System Engineer will build and maintain the tokens-to-code pipeline, implement theming layers, and produce structured documentation to ensure usability across teams from 07/13/2026 to 12/31/2026. Key responsibilities
Build and maintain the tokens-to-code pipeline for seamless design token integration Publish the component library with versioning and release management for reliable access Collaborate with senior designers to ensure design intent is preserved in the implementation
Required qualifications
Strong front-end engineering background with hands-on design system implementation experience Proven experience in building and publishing a component library, including versioning workflows Hands-on experience with a tokens-to-code pipeline (e.g., Style Dictionary, Tokens Studio) Familiarity with Material 3 or a comparable component framework and theming Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA) and semantic markup
