We bring innovative, exciting, and sustainable ideas to life and offer opportunities around the world for contributions to autonomy, electrification, smart‑mobility technologies, and more.
What You’ll Do
Design and release movable glass systems that meet or exceed cost, quality, weight and delivery targets, applying concurrent engineering and knowledge in DFMEA, DFM, DVP&R, CAE/FEA analytical tools, SCCAF, SC/CC, 8D, root‑cause analysis, product development and testing.
Develop ESOW (Engineering Statement of Work), EC (Engineering concepts) and participate in the sourcing process (SOBA, ED&T review, piece‑price, tooling‑cost review and CPA).
Lead and support effort to resolve issues with interfacing components.
Lead design reviews with suppliers to ensure System Design Specifications are created and met.
Lead FMA creation of engineering documentation (DFMEA, SCCAF, attestation scorecard sign‑off process).
Sign off eCAD drawings with related GDT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Sign off on DVP&R tests, confirm compliance with System Design Specifications and materials specs.
Ensure BOM, cost targets and design gaps have clearly defined roadmaps that are validated by PTC to meet program objectives.
Release parts in FEDEBOM, change control and WERS throughout the product life cycle.
Achieve DPA count to glidepath with 0 open at UPV2 through FDJ (final data judgment / pencils down).
Achieve P‑Release on time.
Complete FDJ/FEC/PEC with no open majors.
Deliver DCV, TT, PP, MPI and MP2 build events, on time.
Audit and update BOM (Bill of Material) with correct part levels and usage for prototype builds and maintain it post‑Job 1.
