Role Overview An essential member of Systems' Customer Experience and Technical Support group responsible for ensuring a thorough understanding of each purchase order and project by obtaining missing information or details as required. Responsibilities Obtain missing information or details as required to ensure a thorough understanding of each purchase order and project. Build and maintain relationships with representatives, specifiers and customers; establish and maintain customer goodwill; maintain effective dialogue with representatives and specifiers to determine customer needs and market information related to quote requests; partner with sales, engineering and accounting to follow up to close RFQs, clarifications, opportunities, quotes and orders; track, manage and coordinate the above. Enter sales orders in the ERP system, schedule, print and verify dealer commissions as needed; ensure entered orders match quotes in the system; process expedites, special orders, cancellations, order changes, etc.; send acknowledgment to customer; verify ship date with customer; maintain and file customer signoffs for all assigned sales/purchase orders. Coordinate with other ISPCs as required to enable smooth workflow. Investigate and resolve customer issues (e.g., complaints, field problems, warranty claims, etc.). Maintain sales folders, invoice copies, hold for release orders or any other paperwork as needed. Disperse order information to appropriate internal and external personnel (sales staff, operations, customer, etc.). Understand the dynamics of each quoted order, including budget pricing, competitive bid information, representative's position, job information, etc. for the purpose of contributing to top line sales growth and bottom-line net income. Provide pricing of standard product and quotations of parts and assemblies to representatives as per company policy; evaluate order pricing to identify potential negotiable points. Initiate and coordinate adjustments to pricing and commissions via Credit/Rebills as needed. Assist with sample order requests from customers and work with operations to see that these are fulfilled. Minimum Qualifications Education: Associate's degree. Experience: 3+ years of contract processing or related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficient computer skills and ability to use MS Excel, Word, Email, etc. Ability to quickly learn new systems such as ERP, database applications, etc. Strong ability to be detail oriented by analyzing data to check for errors, inaccuracies, and ensure orders are entered and maintained correctly. The pay range for this position is $20.91 - $32.52/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) contribution are offered (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
