Job Qualifications Five years of experience in Windows server administration and support within the last eight years, or bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in Windows server administration and support within the last eight years.
Specified technical skills may be determined by the hiring manager.
Experience In
Active Directory infrastructure (GPO, DHCP, DNS, ADFS)
Windows Server operating system and services
System troubleshooting and monitoring
Microsoft and VMware virtual server technologies
Remote desktop services
Scripting
Automated server and workstation patching
Network experience with TCP/IP addressing, subnetting, VLAN, routing and firewall rules
Hardware blade server technologies
Degree (one Of)
Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred
Major/Minor (one Of)
Computer Science – Preferred
Information Technology – Preferred

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert providing deep technical guidance and mentorship across support teams.
Deliver advanced troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for complex incidents escalated beyond standard support tiers.
Collaborate with Configuration Management Team to diagnose and resolve imaging, deployment, and configuration‑related issues.
Support end‑to‑end device lifecycle processes and equipment deployment initiatives, ensuring compliance, stability, and adherence to enterprise standards.
Salary Minimum $72,064.00
Major Duties
Serves as 3rd level support for various server operating systems running on physical and blade server hardware infrastructure technologies.
Designs and implements new platforms and environments into existing infrastructure.
Leads projects and coordinates effectively between divisions and business units.
Monitors infrastructure to ensure optimal system performance and prevent unplanned system outages.
Develops and maintains standard operating procedures and technical documentation for new and existing systems; monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
Defines disaster recovery requirements; plans and delivers a disaster recovery solution for open systems technologies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Challenges
24x7 work environment supporting Exchange operations, which requires shift work, on‑call, and/or after‑hours project work and may include holidays and weekends.
IT environment is constantly changing, demanding quick solutions and evolving skills.
IT position located at HQ.
IT position may involve some TDY associated with this IT work.
