Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineering, business end users, manufacturing, test, controls engineers, and operations personnel.
Gather business requirements and convert them into functional specifications for solution design and development.
Work independently to communicate requirements, develop and configure solutions, perform functional testing, and obtain user approval before deployment.
Continuously improve processes and end‑user skill levels, pursue enhancements to ensure systems are secure and meet business needs, and monitor solutions for issues or errors.
Work with internal and external teams, bridging gaps between business and IT across design, content, and technology.
Serve as a trusted strategic partner aligned with the business domain.
Partner with manufacturing test engineering, systems engineering, and software engineering to anticipate integration requirements for new cybersecurity features while addressing local team input.
Facilitate short‑ and long‑term strategic planning sessions with central and local teams to improve, enhance, and innovate business capability.
Support the rollout of processes and procedures compliant with the latest cybersecurity standards and regulations.
Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments.
Interface with cybersecurity experts from major OEM manufacturers.
Cooperate with IT functions to anticipate changes in information system architecture and mitigate technology obsolescence risk.
Provide second‑level support for manufacturing operations, including issue resolution and problem solving.
Gather business requirements and objectives for cybersecurity projects.
Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations to design, develop, configure, implement, and maintain efficient and effective cybersecurity tools.
Deliver key user training for shop floor systems to ensure proper use and alignment with business needs.
Assist in configuring, debugging, and deploying systems for new products to be built at the manufacturing plant.
Document and maintain processes.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills (oral and written).
Establish and maintain effective working relationships across a global team, including remote and dispersed environments such as overseas locations, cultural differences, and split time zones.
Fluency in English, written and verbal.
Travel may be required up to 25%.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with relational databases.
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles (encryption, security properties, encryption algorithms, keys/certificates/signatures).
Development experience in one or more languages, such as SQL or Python.
Working knowledge of VMware.
Working knowledge of Windows Server and Linux Operating Systems.
Attention to detail and ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly.
