Job Summary This full‑time role offers a hybrid schedule from our St. Paul or Plymouth, MN offices. Comprehensive experience with P&C markets in the Twin Cities Region is required, with some regional travel expected. Remote candidates with regional market experience who can meet all deliverables and travel requirements will also be considered.
The Personal Risk Client Executive/Sales Advisor is P&C licensed and experienced in all facets of Personal Insurance, with proven sales skills. This role focuses on advising and delivering personal insurance products tailored to the needs of prospective insureds. You will receive non‑solicited personal new business leads or referrals in NFP’s New Business Department, and work through a single‑point‑of‑contact process to ensure an efficient buying experience.

You build deep carrier relationships and strengthen your placement expertise while operating with autonomy, supported by a strong service infrastructure.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Understand various carrier appetites and website functionalities.
Work closely with carrier underwriters to determine risk placement.
Utilize agency management systems, rating systems and carrier websites to provide accurate, timely quotes.
Execute policy correspondence delivery per agency guidelines and procedures.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers, supervisors, and carrier representatives.
Assist with special projects as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, And/Or Abilities
Experience in P&C personal lines client‑facing sales and knowledge of coverage needs.
Comprehensive experience with P&C markets in the Twin Cities Region.
Demonstrated experience with carriers such as Travelers, Safeco, Progressive, AutoOwners.
Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs.
Effective time management and decision‑making skills.
Strong leadership and diligent follow‑through skills.
Ability to negotiate and express ideas clearly in both written and oral communication.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM‑EPIC preferred, and MS Teams.
Influential presentation and public speaking abilities.
Self‑confident to make sound independent decisions.
Ability to interact with a variety of people/personalities.
Ability to travel approximately 5% within the Central region.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma or GED required with additional learning or certifications.
More than 3 years of licensed personal lines related industry sales and service experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registration
Property & Casualty broker’s license required upon hire.
CPCU, CPRIA, CAPI, or other P&C designation preferred.
What We Offer Competitive salary in the range of $55,000 to $75,000, plus 40% commission on new business. Additional benefits include PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, exclusive discount programs, health & wellness programs, and more. The base salary will be determined by factors including experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level, scope, and geographic location. Performance‑based incentives may also be available.
