To ensure optimal database performance and integrity, the full-time Senior AWS Database Administrator will manage database structures, perform maintenance tasks, and collaborate with technology and data teams in a remote setting. Key responsibilities
Create and modify database structures to support transactional integrity and analytical reporting Perform advanced database maintenance, including backups, performance tuning, and index optimization Design and manage Master Data Management (MDM) solutions to ensure data consistency across systems
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 6+ years of hands-on SQL coding experience across AWS MySQL, Azure TSQL, and Databricks AnsiSQL 6+ years of experience in data modeling, ERD design, and database tuning Proven experience supporting data systems in both Technology and Data team environments Strong knowledge of the AWS cloud platform
