APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Build and deliver innovative software applications to support build, release and quality assurance standards in the field of Applied Machine Learning. Conduct quality assurance on large scale mission critical applications using custom and open-source solutions in Java and Python. Design and implement test automation frameworks for large scale multi-tier distributed applications to maintain high quality standards of both front and back end. Create and maintain software tools and utilities to assist with better quality of application development, distribution and deployment. Integrate test coverage, system and unit testing frameworks, deployment, release and monitor tools to achieve Continuous Integration and Delivery. Implement and maintain required code, configuration and infrastructure management services and solutions to ensure stable and predictable code artifacts delivery and deployment pipelines. Work together with development, dev-operations and project management teams to promote clean coding, effective deployment of a quality solution for the benefit of end user. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 - $272,100/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: Implementing Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines using contemporary coding practices and experience with modern open-source technologies. Using Object Oriented Programming principles and Java to design and write utilities and applications Designing and implementing test automation frameworks for API based testing. Testing distributed systems built around such technologies as Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or Solr Preparing test strategies based on knowledge of Machine Learning development lifecycle, architecture of Big Data pipelines, and design principles of Distributed Computing Planning and executing Integration, System, API and Acceptance testing including building comprehensive test automation frameworks. Working in Linux environment, CLI tools, Git and Shell-scripting to set up and maintain test environments for distributed and cloud systems. Preferred Qualifications
