UR Coordinator The UR Coordinator facilitates a continuum of service while promoting positive outcome and optimal reimbursement, through coordination of patient care, daily clinical reviews, quality documentation, appeals, and reporting. This role supports medical necessity determinations, compliance with payer and regulatory requirements, and effective communication between clinical teams and payers to optimize patient care and reimbursement. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Nursing, Counseling or Psychology required. Requirements: Current Washington State Licensure (Associate or Full) LCSW/A, LMHC/A, LCPC, LPCC or RN Licensure. Must obtain CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-Escalation certifications provided by facility upon hire. Experience: 3-5 years Acute inpatient psychiatric setting as a treatment team member and/or utilization management experience.
