Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; and/or degree in a related field is a plus
Proven outside sales experience. Electric motors, industrial equipment, or a technical sales environment is a plus.
Willingness and ability to learn technical concepts related to electric motors and repair processes.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability and flexibility to travel throughout a designated territory; occasional overnight travel may be required with ample notice.
Strong customer service orientation with a relationship-building mindset.
Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle—from lead generation to close
Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong time and territory management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Familiarity with territory planning tools, GPS mapping, or sales routing software is a plus
Physical ability to visit job sites, warehouses, or industrial environments as needed
Bilingual skills a plus, but not required. (depending on region and customer base)
Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
Actively engage with customers to identify needs and deliver tailored solutions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across various industrial markets
Provide accurate and relevant information on electric motors, repair services, and related applications
Sales Strategy & Execution
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for electric motor sales and repair services
Recommend appropriate products and services based on customer requirements
Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and follow-ups to drive conversion
Collaboration & Fulfillment
Partner closely with internal repair and service teams to ensure accurate quoting, timely execution, and customer satisfaction
Ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and fulfilled throughout the service process
Market Awareness & Representation
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry shifts to identify business opportunities
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote offerings and expand brand visibility
