Responsibilities
Be able to communicate effectively with other employees and customers over the phone, through email and in-person.
Be self-driven through the pursuit of producing positive results.
Possess exceptional customer service skills.
Be highly attentive to detail with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to multitask.
Assist outside sales representatives in nurturing customer relationships and ensuring a high level of customer service.
Coordinate service jobs with outside sales representatives, customers, and service technicians to ensure all service orders are handled expeditiously.
Handle parts and service order processing.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of the part systems for all manufacturers represented by the dealership.
Determine pricing and discounts for all parts according to company standards.
Employ good selling techniques, including conveying a professional and positive manner over the phone.
Be knowledgeable about the computer systems used by the parts department.
Facilitate service technicians in finding and sourcing the parts they need.Monitor all order statuses and keep customers aware of any issues or the timeframe for fulfillment.
Find solutions for any issues that may arise within the department.
Follow all policies and procedures as specified in the company handbook and as directed by the location manager.
Maintain high employee morale.
Attain short- and long-term objectives with good management/planning.
