Position Overview: Mid-Georgia Garage Doors is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to generate new business, build lasting client relationships, and promote our full line of residential and commercial garage door products and services throughout our service area. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach to helping clients find the right solutions for their needs.
Responsibilities:
Prospect and develop new customer relationships within the assigned territory, which may encompass a 90-mile radius from Newnan, GA
Conduct in-person meetings with homeowners, contractors, builders, property managers, and commercial customers throughout the territory
Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and community engagement
Effectively present Mid-Georgia Garage Doors' products and services, clearly communicating features, benefits, and value while overcoming objections and barriers to sale
Prepare and deliver estimates, proposals, and presentations in a professional and timely mannerClose sales opportunities and ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Collaborate with operations, installation, and customer service teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Follow up with customers throughout the sales process to ensure satisfaction and identify additional opportunities
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities within the company CRM
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, pricing, and new products
Attend trade shows, networking events, training sessions, and other business development activities as needed
Requirements:
2+ years of proven outside sales experience in the garage door industry or a related industry (HVAC, Construction, Insulation, Solar, Roofing, Building Materials, or similar)
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory covering up to a 90-mile radius from Newnan, GA
Compensation and Benefits:
Company-provided truck and fuel card

Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed
Location:
A hybrid role involving both in-office and fieldwork within the assigned territory
