Compensation This position is hourly. Anticipated base pay: $18.41 to $27.64 per hour. Commission: target $11,750 annually, uncapped earnings.
Training 4 weeks Monday‑Friday 7AM‑4PM On‑Site. After training, you can choose a preferred schedule with a start time of 6AM, 6:30AM, or 7AM. Your hybrid schedule will include MF work from home, TW/Th in office, or the option to work from the office 5 days a week if that is your preference.

Position Details As an Inside Sales Associate, you’ll participate in a 4‑week paid training program where you will learn essential selling skills designed to set you up for success. Upon graduation, you may begin a hybrid work schedule with two remote workdays per week and will continue training until you are presented your own book of business, consisting of 100 or more mid‑size customer accounts in one or two specific industries. You will report to a Manager of Inside Sales and meet performance expectations for daily outbound calls and monthly sales goals. The start date for this position is July 27th, 2026. Your focus will be to grow revenue through strategic sales opportunities, leveraging Grainger’s product line and technology tools. The Grainger sales team encourages collaboration through contests, huddles, and coaching sessions.
You Will
Achieve your sales goal by maximizing customer time and your own.
Manage a book of business and build customer relationships to better understand their needs and remain responsive to changing customer goals.
Source and prioritize new sales opportunities through outbound phone calls and email.
Adapt your communication approach by customer to find solutions and solve their challenges.
Meet monthly performance metrics and demonstrate perseverance to overcome customer concerns and close sales opportunities.
You Have
High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
Comfort spending 50% or more of the day working with customers over the phone.
Experience with a customer relationship management software such as Salesforce is a plus.
