Operating across multiple major U.S. markets with a $100M corporate infrastructure, we are one of the largest residential roofing and exterior restoration firms in the country. While our mainline direct-to-consumer field divisions continue to successfully anchor our core business across the nation, we are launching an exclusive, specialized Retail Inbound Division team specifically for the Chicago market.
The Opportunity & Accountability This is a mid‑to‑senior level consultative closing role designed for disciplined sales professionals. This is not an entry-level position, nor is it a passive account management role.
Advocate’s marketing engine provides you with two pre‑qualified, pre-scheduled appointments every single day. Your directive is to arrive at the property, execute our proprietary 7‑step consultative presentation, diagnose exterior structural needs, and secure the contract in a one‑call‑close setting.
Strategic Autonomy & Profit Margin Execution We do not employ order‑takers. We select business‑minded operators who understand financial leverage:
Pricing Control: You are armed with a comprehensive retail product and pricing portfolio across premium roofing and gutter systems.
Margin Responsibility: You are given the localized authority to negotiate contract terms directly with the homeowner. Your performance—and your commission multiplier—is tied directly to your ability to maintain profitable contract margins.
Rewarding Volume: You are compensated on revenue targets in addition to margin so that even with flexible pricing, your ability to close deals will always be rewarded.
Earning potential within this division is completely uncapped. A proficient closer is expected to exceed $100,000 in Year One, with advanced top‑producers tracking over $200,000. We offer two distinct, performance‑mapped paths based on your professional risk tolerance:
Path A (Salary + Commission): Offers a guaranteed weekly base salary providing financial stability, combined with a structured commission percentage based on generated revenue. Note: Company fleet vehicle is not provided on this track.
Path B (Commission Accelerator): A pure commission‑only structure featuring accelerated percentage thresholds on paid revenue. Includes immediate allocation of a Premium Company Truck.
Self‑Generated Catalyst: Representatives who independently identify and secure opportunities adjacent to their company‑assigned leads receive our highest‑tier commission multiplier.
The Commitment & Selection Process This role requires a rigorous time investment. To capture homeowners when they are present and ready to make financial decisions, you must consistently execute the core field schedule: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM weekdays, and 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturdays.
Selected candidates will be placed into an intensive, 1‑week mandatory training bootcamp led by senior sales executives. You will be evaluated daily on product technicalities, problem identification, margin mechanics, and verbatim mastery of our 7‑step closing system.
The Profile We Accept
Documented history of success in face‑to‑face closing environments (high‑ticket home improvement, automotive sales, consultative B2C, or premium account execution).
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to maintain absolute composure and authority during a negotiation.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
