Payroll and Compliance (70%) Review bi-weekly payroll cycles for Canada and UK payrolls. Process bi-weekly payroll cycles for US payrolls. Review and balance payroll test runs to internal payroll control logs and checklists as per the established schedules. Prepare Intercompany payroll and benefits billings. Prepare and review payroll journal entries and ensure correct accounting classifications prior to ADP GLI uploads. Support the reconciling, preparing, obtaining approvals, posting all payroll related journal entries to SAP, reconciling to the GL and to the Workday/Payroll reports. Prepare and review Yearend tax forms (Canada/US/UK). Support payroll related investigations and problem resolutions. Demonstrate a strong compliance-oriented mindset & help to build a strong compliance culture while ensuring adherence to the established audit controls. Support external year-end auditors’ requests and payroll audits in Canada, US and UK as necessary Workday Time Tracking, Workday Integration with Payroll Providers and Concur Expense (30%) Support and maintain Workday Time Tracking configuration design documentation, payroll data mappings, interface design and scheduling. Support Workday integration into payroll applications (ADP) and benefit providers, including configuration design documentation, payroll data mappings, interface design and scheduling. Support Concur Expense implementation and on-going maintenance of application. Attend, support and lead divisional business collaboration sessions to action project plan deliverables. Support payroll upgrades and continuous process improvements related to implementations and related re-designs with advance complexity. University Business Degree or equivalent. Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP)/Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) certification (National Payroll Institute NPI - previously Canadian Payroll Association CPA). Payroll experience in Multinational Companies (minimum 5 years). Experience in Canadian and US Payroll processes and tax structure. Awareness of all applicable payroll/financial standards, process documentation & training materials to ensure compliant execution of responsibilities. Experience with ADP WFN Canada, Workday system for HCM including Time Tracking an asset. Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information related to payroll and HR activities. Attention to detail, accurate data entry skills. Ability to work in local/regional/global team environment and communicate effectively with both internal business partners of all levels & disciplines as well as external stakeholders such as auditors and tax authorities. Advanced Excel. SAP, Concur Travel and Expense system knowledge. Microsoft Project management skills.
