As a detail‑driven, customer‑focused Sales Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Director of Sales by managing group blocks, preparing contracts, coordinating event details, and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients from initial inquiry through departure.
Key Responsibilities The Sales Manager supports sales initiatives for the downtown Burlington property by coordinating communication between departments and helping execute strategies to ensure group stays and meetings run seamlessly. This role requires initiative, strong relationship‑building skills with corporate clients and partners, and close collaboration with hotel leadership to align sales goals with operational success.
Primary Duties Include
Coordinating sales groups and BEOs in PEP
Creating reservations for LNR/CNR accounts
Working with the Director of Sales to set up amenities for groups
Interfacing with groups on‑property to ensure a smooth experience
Assisting with meeting room setup and take down
Helping coordinate BEO details with Food & Beverage
Processing and tracking group payments
Collaborating with hotel departments to ensure group stays and meetings run seamlessly
Preferred Skills & Experience
Strong attention to detail
Experience with PEP
Proficiency in OnQ R&I
Schedule flexibility, including availability to work Tuesday through Saturday.
Position Requirements
Education/Experience: Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
Industry Background: Prior hotel or hospitality sales experience.
Sales Experience: An understanding of the sales cycle, including Prospecting, Opening, Qualifying, Advancing, Gaining Commitment, and Closing.
Client Solutions: Ability to clearly communicate solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings and weekends to accommodate networking events, client appointments, and group activities.
Adaptability: Occasional off‑hour engagements may be required to meet business and client needs.
