Charge Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) to lead our nursing team on 12-hour day or night shifts. In this role, you will provide direct patient care while overseeing daily nursing operations to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts

  • Day and Night shifts available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support CNAs, Medication Aides, and nursing staff on assigned unit

  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders

  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately

  • Monitor resident conditions and report changes to physicians and families

  • Lead admissions, discharges, and transfers

  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all regulations

  • Perform wound care, IV therapy, tube feedings, and other skilled procedures

  • Conduct rounds to ensure quality care and staff performance

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet resident needs

  • Respond to incidents, concerns, and emergency situations as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Current CPR certification

  • Long-term care experience preferred, but not required

  • Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills
