Job Title: Design Technology Teacher Location: Burnley, Lancashire Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday Duration: Initially until October half term, likely to continue until Christmas Daily Rate: £168.80 – £215.68 per day (dependant on experience)
About the Role:
* Teach Design Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Deliver engaging and practical lessons across a broad range of DT specialisms, including Engineering and Food.
* Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with the curriculum to support pupil progress and attainment.
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
* Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment that supports learning and participation.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear feedback to support development.
