Position requires: High school/GED preferred Valid drivers license preferred Duties as follows: Operate cutting torch to cut pieces of scrap into specified sizing Maintain clean torch cutting tip and replace cutting tip as required; Complete daily paperwork including, but not limited to, a pre-shift safety inspection; Perform dismantling, stacking, and scrap value sorting actions; Perform basic maintenance actions and other general labor duties as required. Ability to run or learn hydraulic shears for non ferrous/ferrous material Bobcat and forklift experience preferred Outdoor work required in all seasons Ability to stand 8 hours Required skills: Full time M-F with Saturday hours Able to stand for 8 hour shift Must be able to work in varying natural elements Able to lift up to 40lbs Results orientated/Strong work ethic Reliability, enthusiasm, teamwork Well-developed interpersonal skills - ability to get along with diverse personalities Job Type: Full time $15.00-$19.00 per hour Paid holidays and vacation pay Company Description We are an industrial scrap metal recycling facility located in Northern Ohio We purchase, process and sell all grades of scrap metal material from all over the state of Ohio and surrounding.
