Not Available Overview We is seeking a Junior Real Estate Associate to join its nationally ranked Band 1 Real Estate Practice. This role is ideal for attorneys with 1-3 years of experience in real estate transactions, real estate finance, or both, preferably from a BigLaw or comparable law firm. Associates work on sophisticated institutional real estate deals with significant client exposure and responsibility from the outset. Key Responsibilities Draft and negotiate:
Purchase & Sale Agreements (PSAs) Loan agreements Mortgages Joint Venture (JV) agreements
Manage transaction and closing checklists. Coordinate signatures and closing deliverables for multi-party transactions. Conduct due diligence reviews involving:
Title and survey Zoning Environmental matters Lease reviews
Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, and local counsel. Participate in client and opposing counsel calls. Assist with:
Mortgage financings Mezzanine financings Subscription/capital commitment-backed credit facilities Joint venture formations
Required Qualifications J.D. degree and active bar admission. 1-3 years of post-bar experience in:
Real estate transactions, and/or Real estate finance.
Experience gained at a BigLaw or comparable firm. Strong drafting, due diligence, and transaction management skills. Ability to work effectively in lean deal teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience representing both lenders and borrowers. Exposure to:
Mezzanine debt Preferred equity structures Subscription finance facilities Complex capital stack transactions
Experience handling institutional-scale commercial real estate transactions
